The die-cut papersleeve has been skilfully crafted, answering the demands of the fans to become a unique piece of art. The front cover features a see-through frame with the possibility of flipping the booklet to show an alternate cover.

The whole packaging and the booklet are printed on premium artistic paper by the Italian leader paper-company Fedrigoni. The paper is soft and velvety on the touch and the grain gives a classy and smooth feel to the fine printing. All the paper is manufactured strictly following eco-compatible procedures.

The album will not be plastic-wrapped, but will be delivered inside a collector-grade, resealable, transparent envelope, assuring an eco-sustainable approach with no wastes. The plastic used for the envelope is acid-free, ensuring a long conservation of the prints.

Absent Passages is the new record from the Austin, TX-based prog-metal/post-rock artist Scaphoid. The album moves freely between aggression and atmosphere, from incendiary roar to infectious groove to intoxicating delicacy in a matter of moments. Album opener and lead single “Marauder” sets a great tone for what’s to come, with space rock melodies hovering above djent-minded rhythmic stutters, and crystal clear, ethereal leads acting as the thread tying everything together. It’s varied without being overwritten, impressive without being showy, and consistently and thoroughly engaging.
