“Ornaments & Memories”, Future Static’s eagerly awaited sophomore album, displays a darker and more philosophical side than their debut LP Liminality, exploring internal and external conflict, growth, change and love. Amongst bouncy riffs and soul crushing breakdowns, dramatically stacked vocal parts and frantic drum fills, this album is musically and thematically inspired by the ebbs and flows of living in a rapidly accelerating world.
Lead vocalist Amariah Cook explains: “I wanted this album to display growth, not just as a vocalist and songwriter, but also as a human being. Since Liminality was inspired by a stagnant lifestyle, Ornaments & Memories naturally became the musical journey of what it feels like to start setting yourself up for a life worth living, settling into core values and understanding how to handle the ever-growing emotional range that comes with caring more. All of these themes came through better than I could have ever hoped, pouring it all into the most dramatic and genre-bending heavy music my best friends and I could conjure.”

SHIPPING DISCLAIMER
Please note: Orders that include a pre-order item will not ship until the pre-order is available. To avoid delays, we recommend placing separate orders, one for in-stock items and another for pre-orders.
We take great care to ensure your order is packed safely. All unshrinkwrapped vinyl ships with the record outside the jacket to prevent seam splits. Unfortunately, shrinkwrapped vinyl is always at risk for seam splits during transit from pressing plants, bands, or labels as this is an inherent challenge in vinyl shipping.
Once a package leaves our warehouse, we’re not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items but we’re always willing to help resolve issues whenever possible.
Please also keep in mind that most of the vinyl we carry is pressed in Europe and has already traveled a long way before arriving at our warehouse. While we inspect records carefully, minor corner wear, seam splits or jacket imperfections can occur and are sometimes unavoidable.
We aim to ship all in-stock orders as quickly as possible—typically same day or next business day—though some orders may take up to a week depending on workload and season.
All orders ship from our fulfillment center in Manhattan, Montana (USA).
